Essential Laptop Accessories
Having the right laptop accessories available can make life much easier while traveling. It means you don't have to rely on outside sources for equipment and you stay creative. We haven’t put them in any particular order, it depend on you and the way you use you laptop. Like you never need a bag if you are not going to take you laptop anywhere with you, but we guess you didn’t bought a laptop to if it was going to stay on your desk at home all the time. So here we suggested you some accessories and then keeping your apparent computing habits it’s you who will decide that which item you are going for.

A Laptop Bag
As the newest member of the mobile computing force, you're required to take an oath of safe computing. And that starts with investing in the most important of laptop accessories - a laptop bag. remember, laptops are a little slighter than most things you carry around, and surely they need to be protected. Keep this thing in mind while buying the bag that it should be enough padded so it keep your computer safe in case you accidentally drop the bag. Yes padding will take loots of room in you bag, but it is the only safe way. Make sure that the bag you have selected is big enough to hold your laptop. It should trip in without difficulty, but if its too big then it will keep sliding around too much which is again not good.

Wi-Fi
This may sound redundant, but you probably should have Wi-Fi at home if you do not already have it. There is little sense in getting a laptop and then being confined to a desk in a small room somewhere in the house. I work from home, and do so from my deck at every opportunity. Certainly you have somewhere other than your office where a laptop would be useful. The kitchen? (Be careful!) The television? The balcony or patio? The craft room?

Most new laptops come with the ability to hook up to 802.11n networks, so that’s probably what you should get. It costs a little more, but is a lot faster and more powerful.

USB drive
A USB drive is a storage device about the size of your thumb that plugs directly into a USB port. However, they're very useful for moving files quickly and easily from one computer to another, e.g., moving a PowerPoint presentation from your laptop to your business associate's laptop.

External Mouse
If you stop and think for a moment, you're likely to realize that many places where you'll be computing actually are suitable for a real mouse. So one of the most useful laptop accessories you can buy is a USB mouse, keep it in your bag, and use it whenever you're able. Track-pads are great, and can get you by in a pinch, but there are times that having a mouse can be really, really handy, including those times when you have to work on graphics or other things that need a lot of pointer precision.

There are a lot of different mice made specifically for laptops. They are smaller in size and easier to carry around. They come in both corded and cordless and that choice is up to you.

External Monitor
Although they are usable, the screens on laptops are not what we have become used to on the desktop. To be honest, 15 or 17-inch laptop monitors don’t offer much real estate, especially if your eyes are not that good, so a nice 21-24” monitor rounds out the top five. Best of all, you can almost always use both monitors at the same time when you are home (or at the office) with your external monitor, for even more real estate to work with.

External Keyboard
The major shortfall of the laptop keyboard is the lack of a numeric keypad. If you find yourself using a lot of applications that require numeric input, like spreadsheets, you might consider getting an external keyboard after you have covered the other bases.
